Paris’ Knights and Damsels
This 2 hour walking tour brings Paris’ rich medieval history to life. After meeting your private and expert guide in front of Hôtel de Sens, one of the three medieval private residences remaining in Paris, you will embark on a time travel expedition. You will discover some of the most famous medieval ruins and sites of the city: old homes and streets, a part of the original 1215 city wall, as well as the famous Notre Dame cathedral. You will learn how the 850 year old iconic cathedral still stands proudly thanks to the Victor Hugo’s famous novel, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”
The tour ends with a visit to the Medieval museum (Musée de Cluny), which houses an incredible collection of mysterious tapestries and fascinating objects. To make this walking tour even more exciting for the children, fun-filled game booklets will be handed out. If they solve all the riddles and games, your youngest explorers will even be knighted following the ancient tradition.
